Security Statement
Beware of a new scam called "phishing." This involves
receiving unsolicited e-mail, seemingly from a legitimate organization
such as ours, that asks you to verify or provide confidential personal
information like account or Social Security numbers, passwords, or other
crucial information.
Once received, this information is used by the perpetrators to gain
unauthorized access to accounts and to steal your identity in other
ways. The solicitation may come in the form of a link to a website
or an e-mail request which may look legitimate since it bears seemingly
correct logos and bank information.
Our bank will soon offer internet banking through our website. We
still, however, would never contact our customers via e-mail to confirm or
request information.
Should you experience what you feel is a suspicious contact eliciting
account information, please contact Security Officer Andrea Paternoster at
once at (607) 865-412 6 or apaternoster@natbkdelco.com.
